HELLO FRIEND.

I love cooking. I learned it from my mom and grandmother and have always had a passion for sharing cooking skills with my children. 

 
That’s why I built a business teaching my children and their friends about whole foods cooking and nutrition. And why I created Healthy Hands Cooking, so others could start a successful business and do it too.  

My very first student could not believe that mashed potatoes came from potatoes!  He thought they could only come from a box! 

How sad that I had my biggest “a-ha moment” when I found this out. There can be such a disconnect between where our food comes from, and how to prepare it. 

Most kids today have grown up in a world filled with fast foods and processed food options. This is one of the reasons, studies have shown, that childhood obesity is at an all-time high. 

Home cooking provides many family benefits, like socializing in the kitchen, developing life skills and confidence, and giving kids an avenue for healthy choices and personal interaction. 

Children's cooking classes have never been more sought after than they are right now. Sadly, for every student in an after-school program, there are three more children still waiting to get in.  (Source:  After School Alliance).  

Just imagine doing something you love, that you are good at, that brings you joy, that allows you to develop and help kids find joy as well… and best of all, getting paid to do it.

We have now trained more than 650+ entrepreneurial women just like you as self-employed cooking instructors and can't wait to help you too.

Lastly, schools can now access our entire library of content including STEAM-based lesson plans that can be used in the classroom, in an after-school program, in cooking clubs, summer camps, and more. How cool to view gardening and food through the lens of science, math, and engineering!
